Sunnydale Supportive Care is an established supportive care accommodation service, which provides quality care and comfort for people in a warm and friendly environment.
Set on a spacious site with modern and fresh décor and recent extensive building upgrades, clients find themselves settled and 'at home' in an instant.
A prefect location within short walking distance to the beach and the iconic Semaphore Road.
This idyllic location provides, access to the following within a street away, restaurants, cafe's, medical surgery, dentist pharmacies, bank, post office, library and countless retail shops.
Transport is accessible with the bus stop to Port Adelaide and West Lakes shopping precinct situated right out front of Sunnydale on Military Road.
Management and Support Staff at Sunnydale are thoughtful and caring, and have a wealth of sector experience to ensure client expectations and needs are met.
Standards of client care, well being and hygiene are highly regarded to the Sunnydale team and we make it our priority to ensure these service provisions are met.
Whilst residing at Sunnydale clients will feel supported, respected, and their voices heard when expressing their needs and concerns.

Sunnydale's in-house activities that consist of the following:
[ ACCOMMODATION FEES ]
Single and share rooms are available with rates according to the accommodation. The current rates are: -
Single / Share $905.00 per fortnight in Advance
Sunnydale Supportive Care fees are set at a maximum rate of 79% of the full pension (i.e. pension plus full rent assistance) 34% of the Pension Supplement and 100% of the Energy Supplement. Increases are in line with the costs of living increases.
Two weeks’ notice is given in writing of any adjustments to the fees. Fees include room and board including all meals,
breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and supper.
Fee price increases twice yearly in line with DSP pension increases.
Respite Accommodation is available in minimum two- week blocks - price available on application.
Upon entering Sunnydale, two weeks rent is payable in advance.
Residents may terminate a contract at any time provided that 14 days’ notice of termination in writing is provided to the proprietor.
A reduction of 30% will apply when away in hospital, holidays, etc., for more than 14 consecutive days.
[ NDIS FEES ]
Your NDIS Service Agreement is made for the purpose of providing supports under your NDIS plan and you may request a copy of your service agreement if required.
We agree that this Service Agreement is made in the context of the NDIS, which is a scheme that aims to:
Rates are charged accordingly determined by the client’s in-house support needs.
Price increases will occur as in accordance with the NDIA price index guide.

- Diabetes management, including insulin and daily BGL checks.
- Podiatrist that visits onsite once a month.
- GP that visits fortnightly to administer client depo injections.
- Fortnightly onsite visits from Psychiatrists and Psychologist.
- Dietician approved meals according to specific dietary needs.
- Daily health checks.
- Weekly weight checks.

- Staff available 24/7, with overnight assistance.
[ CLIENT WELLBEING & ADVOCACY ]
- Daily well-being checks.
- Coordination of supports or appointments.
- Client advocacy and consult support with community and government providers .
- Support with placing calls to the NDIS.
- Counseling-debriefing.
- Support to build relationships and friendships.
- Support with interpreting letters or information.
[ SECURITY MEASURES ]
- Extensive CCTV covering all entries, exits and common areas with 24-hour security monitoring.
- Security alarm system – Monitored 24 hours.
- Panic/duress alarm.
- Intercom Service – nighttime and after hours.
- Secure boundary fencing locked from 9:30 p.m. each night.
- Monitored fire system through metro Fire Service.
- Overnight qualified support staff (support staff 24/7)
- Collaborative relationship with mental health services and mental health triage.

- Two extensive common area’s with large wall mounted TV’s that provide: Foxtel, Stan, and various other programs for client’s entertainment.
- Fully furnished room that consists of: single king sized bed, bedside table, wardrobe, bedlinen
- All rooms are fitted out with a 60 inch wall-mounted television.
- Free WIFI.
- Regular In-house activities that consist of the following: arts and crafts, beading-jewelry making, knitting, make-up and nail art, board games, bingo, and karaoke nights.
- Large verandahs and sheltered areas to protect from the weather.
- Designated sheltered smoking areas
- Personalised Laundry service.
- Cleaners who maintain the facilities hygiene standards, providing detailed cleans of all common areas three times per day, and client’s rooms once a day.
- Security devices: intercom system, panic alarms and security cameras.
[ NEW UPCOMING RENOVATIONS ]
New step up accommodation to build the clients independence and capacity.
- This new concept will comprise of six single spacious bedrooms
- Fully new operation kitchen for clients to be supervised and supported cooking their own meals.
- Clients to be supervised and supported whilst completing cleaning duties.
- This style of accommodation will support clients to work towards building capacity and independence, with the future goal of living within the community in private or cluster type housing.
